The Wines
In 2010 the birds were very hungry and ate alot of our grapes!! Between that & very careful selection of clusters, the yields were extremely low (0.8 tons/acre), and the production of the 2010 Ayoub Estate is the smallest ever. Only 190 cases were made. In addition to my Estate Pinot Noir, I made three Single Vineyard Pinots from great vineyard sites. They really showcase the “Terroir” of those vineyards, and it is very interesting experience to taste them side by side.
I’m really excited about my 2010′s, they are very balanced & complex wines with gorgeous fruit , bright acid and an interesting mix of spices and minerality. These wines will evolve well and improve with age.
Enjoy!
