The Wines

In 2009, the weather conditions cooperated to produce grapes with good phenolic ripeness and great balance of bright fruit and acid. In 2009, I made at total of five wines. In addition to my Estate Vineyard & Memoirs Pinot Noirs, I’m excited to Introduce to you two new single vineyard Pinot Noirs from Brittan Vineyard & Marsh Vineyard, and an amazing Chardonnay (Yes Chardonnay!!) from Dundee Hills.

I purposely selected the fruit for the three single vineyard pinots from three different wine regions: Ayoub Estate Vineyard Dundee Hills AVA, Brittan Vineyard McMinnville AVA, Marsh Vineyard Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Although these wines were made at the same place, by the same people, they are amazinly different They really showcase the “Terroir” of those regions, and it is very interesting experience to taste them side by side.

I’m really excited about my 09′s, they are very balanced & complex wines with gorgeous fruit , bright acid and an interesting mix of spices and minerality. These wines will evolve well and improve with age.

Enjoy!
